A World at a Crossroads
Where Russia aggression threatens the very fabric of global peace and democracy, the power of the consumer has never been more potent. As individuals, our choices at the checkout counter can serve as silent votes for the kind of world we wish to inhabit — one that values freedom, respects sovereignty, and promotes peace over conflict. This article is a clarion call to action, urging a global boycott of products and companies from countries engaged in unwarranted aggression, with a spotlight on Russia’s ongoing military actions.
Understanding the Impact
The battleground is not limited to physical territories; it extends into the economic arenas where companies and products become unwitting participants in the machinery of war. Brands like Viči, Xiaomi, Bacardi, Bonduelle, Mars, Nestlé, PepsiCo, and Philip Morris, among others, are identified as entities whose operations indirectly support aggressive actions through economic means.
Initiatives like Push to Leave and Leave Russia are at the forefront, highlighting the urgency of divesting from aggression.
The Power of the Boycott
Boycotts have historically been a powerful tool for social and political change. By refusing to purchase products or engage with companies that have ties to aggressive nations, consumers globally can send a strong message. This collective action can lead to significant economic repercussions, pushing companies to reconsider their operations in these regions and, more importantly, sending a clear message to aggressor states.
From the Baltics and Beyond
The call for a boycott is growing louder, echoing from the streets of Tallinn to the corridors of power in Europe and America. The Estonian Defence Ministry’s decision to ban products supporting the Russian economy in its domains is a precedent-setting move. It’s a testament to the fact that institutional and individual actions can converge to create a tapestry of resistance against aggression.
Join the Movement
This is more than a boycott; it’s a global movement for peace and justice. The initiatives like Push to Leave and Leave Russia are not just campaigns; they are beacons of hope and solidarity. They remind us that in the face of injustice, indifference is not an option. We, as a global community, have the tools and the power to make a difference. It’s time to use our purchasing power as a weapon against aggression, to stand in solidarity with those fighting for their freedom and for the sanctity of international law. We must have zero tolerance for violence, aggression, expanding borders via war and invading other countries.

By joining this boycott, we contribute to a wave of change that can reshape the geopolitical landscape, favoring peace over war, dialogue over conflict, and human dignity over domination. Let’s make our choices count. Let’s stand together for a world where aggression finds no ally in economics, and peace is the ultimate victor.
I’ve been avoiding Russian products and those companies who operate and/or trade with Russia and I must admit that the life both in moral terms, but also physical and mental ways have become better. Usually quality of those products are worse and emotionally + environmentally its better to know that your inner circle doesn’t support Russia invasion and you are not support those companies that support that invasion.
