Eesti Kunstiakadeemia

Built at CMA, the artun.ee portal for the Estonian Academy of Arts had to balance aesthetic restraint with a genuinely complex, multi-faculty information architecture — the academy is many departments under one roof.

A neutral frame for creative work

The answer was a minimalist container plus decentralized authorship through the Base Builder CMS. Non-technical staff across departments publish independently, which eliminated the central-webmaster bottleneck and kept the site as alive as the academy itself.

The design philosophy — a neutral frame for dynamic creative content — directly mirrors the academy’s own curatorial values.
