Planet42 is a rent-to-buy vehicle platform serving emerging markets in South Africa and Mexico. In collaboration with Altos Engineering, BIND built the high-throughput cloud infrastructure and automated DevOps behind it, where the core challenge was instant risk assessments plus near-zero downtime across distinct geographic zones.

Isolated risk, immutable infrastructure

Decoupled asynchronous worker queues isolated credit scoring from the user-facing apps, and an immutable infrastructure-as-code model with automated CI/CD and dynamic auto-scaling kept the platform steady as it grew.

The infrastructure scaled to thousands of vehicle assets and millions of data points; when macro headwinds forced a restructuring, the underlying architecture held.
