Global web delivery
Rovio Entertainment created Angry Birds, one of the best-selling mobile games of all time. Through an Opus/BIND collaboration, the work was an adaptive web architecture and global edge-caching strategy to put the Angry Birds franchise in front of a worldwide audience.
Built for global, ready for Asia
We decoupled the CMS backend from the frontend presentation layer and leaned on CDN-heavy edge caching to minimize time-to-first-byte globally — with particular attention to Asian-market traffic. Asset delivery adapted to the device: high-res for desktop, ruthlessly optimized for mobile.
When your IP reaches hundreds of millions of users, global traffic is a daily reality — the architecture let Rovio’s teams update game catalogs continuously without risking live stability.
